EVM has worked with Turnberry Golf Club on many important occasions. The club forms part of a golf resort located on the coast of the Firth of Clyde in South Ayrshire, Scotland. It comprises three links golf courses, a golf academy, a five-star James Miller designed hotel from 1906, along with lodge and cottage accommodations. The prominent rock island Ailsa Craig is visible to the southwest.

The Ailsa Course at Turnberry is a hallowed place for golf, made famous for the Open Championships held here in 1977, 1986, 1994 and 2009 and witness to some of the most memorable battles in golf’s Open era. The legendary “Duel in the Sun” in 1977, between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus is particularly memorable. Watson claimed a classic victory, one stroke ahead Nicklaus on the 18th hole in the final round.

EVM have collaborated with Turnberry Golf Club on a number of occasions.

Our work varies according to the needs of the club and so we have shown some of the Wayfinding and place making examples on this page.

On each occasion it goes without saying that Turnberry Golf Club demands the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship from EVM in everything we do. We are pleased to say that EVM makes the cut on quality and service for Turnberry Golf Club whenever the need arises.
